On the occasion of New year celebration of Nepal Sambat the newar community held a rally to celebrate it. Every newar influenced city organize a rally in Nepal with people dressed up in Newari dress and dancing in Newari music.
This year the newar community of Kathmandu city cancelled it’s rally to mourn the death of a leader Mr. Padma Ratna Tuladhar. He had a big influence in newar community of Kathmandu.
Though they did not held the rally but there were lots of people wishing Nepal Sambat new year 1139 around the city.
