The Asian one horned rhino at Royal Chitwan National Park
The one-horned rhino – Identity of Royal Chitwan National Park

Nepal is a land of wonder. East, west, north or south everywhere we go around this country we will find many things to be amazed of. Either it is by its natural beauty or festival and culture of each ethnic groups. Nepal has flat sea level lands to high mountains of Himalaya Range.  Extreme hot weather to chilling cold temperature. I am in a mission to visit at least some of the most amazing places in Nepal and luckily this time I got an opportunity to visit one of the best natural place in Nepal, the “Royal Chitwan National Park”. The park where endangered wildlife like Tiger, the Asian one-horned Rhino and Ghariyal crocodile are conserved.

World Heritage site - Boudha Nath StupaBoudha Nath Stupa

I always wanted to have some evening shots of Boudha Nath Stupa. It is one of the World Heritage Site listed by UNESCO. This year on the day of Buddha Jayanti i got this opportunity. Me and my friends Mr. Rukesh Shrestha, Mr. Samir Pradhananga and Mr. Pritush Maharjan were lucky enough to get the perfect place to capture some moments. I would like to thank the person from Sakura Restaurant who allowed us to go to their rooftop so that we can take some shots. It’s really sad that the potential tourist destination like Boudha have time limit for the visitors and devotees to spend time on the stupa, as they were asked to leave the stupa premises after 8 p.m. Me and Samir had some concept to take the picture from the inside premises of the stupa but we could not do it due to this rule. Hope some day we go again and request the guards to get our dream shot.

Bayon Temple, Siem Reap

It’s been a long time that I planned to travel and this time I did manage to do some travelling. I had planned to go to Myanmar this time, but due to some technical problems I could not; but instead made a memorable trip to Siem Reap, Cambodia and Roi Et city and the village around it in Thailand. This time I had my friend Mr. Hoan from Vietnam to travel with me.

My last visit to Siem Reap was not quite satisfactory to me as I had missed visiting many monuments due to lack of proper information. This time around, I did not want to miss a single monument and capture them through my lens. I had heard about the sunrise at Angkor Wat was amazing to see. So, one of my main objective of this trip was to get there and capture and feel the early morning moment.

In some of the blogs and articles it was mentioned that at this time there are very few people around but when I reach there I got to know what few people really meant. It was already over crowded but was less than the crowd I saw during the daytime in my last visit. Some photographers were already position for their best shot and I had to adjust with some of them with the space left over there.

Province of Kanchanaburi - Thailand

Kanchanaburi

I had a week long vacation this time; and due to the vacation being very short, I could not to go Nepal to celebrate Tihar. So there were few options for me to go around in this free time. I had plans to go Burma (Myanmar) or Seam Reap, Cambodia. However, due to tight budget I had to abandon it as well.

Still I wanted to go some new places near Bangkok for photography. There is a train station near my hostel, Thonburi railway station. Since the day I arrived Bangkok, I wanted to take that train ride. Therefore, I thought this is the week I will make that dream trip.

Ha Long Bay - A World Heritage Site

Beauty of Ha long bay

Seems like traveling is going to be my passion now, as I love doing photography it always takes me to new area, new faces and new landscapes; without traveling I cannot get all of them. This time I am in Hanoi, Vietnam for my Clinical placement and I did some city tour right after got my visa on arrival to Vietnam, but I did not find that wow factor in this city. I was in search of new destination just for my photography. I was suggested two places to go Ha Long Bay and Sapa. For this time due to time constraint I chose Ha long Bay. UNESCO has recognized it as a “World Heritage Site”.

Capital city of Vietnam, Hanoi is a growing metropolitan. There are no much skyscrapers but they are on rise now as the city is growing. So it still have it’s natural beauty in it. It’s a city of lakes too, there many small and big lakes around it and parks beside it which have given extra beauty to it.

One of the attraction of Hanoi is Hoan Kiem Lake, it’s also a center of Hanoi. Walking around this place is fun as you see tourist and locals around the park beside the lake.

I have captured some moments from my walk around Hoan kiem Lake, Ho Chi Min tomb and parks around the city.

One of my purpose of going trekking to Annapurna Base Camp was to do some photography. I did capture some picture which I dreamed of like the milky way, stars all over the sky at night, mountain glowing at night and the nature. I did capture some faces on the way as well. They are from different walks of life. Some live there, some work as porter and some kids enjoying their time in their village. It was interesting to see the life of people over there.

I want to share some picture of people whom I have captured, hope you guys will enjoy it.
