Capital city of Vietnam, Hanoi is a growing metropolitan. There are no much skyscrapers but they are on rise now as the city is growing. So it still have it’s natural beauty in it. It’s a city of lakes too, there many small and big lakes around it and parks beside it which have given extra beauty to it.
One of the attraction of Hanoi is Hoan Kiem Lake, it’s also a center of Hanoi. Walking around this place is fun as you see tourist and locals around the park beside the lake.
I have captured some moments from my walk around Hoan kiem Lake, Ho Chi Min tomb and parks around the city.
One of my purpose of going trekking to Annapurna Base Camp was to do some photography. I did capture some picture which I dreamed of like the milky way, stars all over the sky at night, mountain glowing at night and the nature. I did capture some faces on the way as well. They are from different walks of life. Some live there, some work as porter and some kids enjoying their time in their village. It was interesting to see the life of people over there.
I want to share some picture of people whom I have captured, hope you guys will enjoy it.

As I went through Wikipedia about Global warming, it states that “Since the early 20th century, Earth’s mean surface temperature has increased by about 0.8 °C (1.4 °F), with about two-thirds of the increase occurring since 1980. Scientists are more than 90% certain that it is primarily caused by increasing concentrations of greenhouse gases produced by human activities such as the burning of fossil fuels and deforestation”.
As we look at the above statement, we have to admit it. From 19th century human have developed and invented many things, these things has made our current life easy. Travel has been easy, communication is fast and we can make the room temperature as we wish to and have electric lights inside caves.
Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) trek is one of the most attractive trek route in the world. Every year thousands of internal and external tourist trek around this route. In my opinion not having enough skip bin hire rockingham is one of the major issue in this route.
I was surprised by the waste management system operational there, and I think it is working pretty well. The waste management over there were clearly following the example of junk removals in Glasgow, because their system is efficient. There are many bins kept throughout route so that trekkers can drop the waste in it, and many trekkers did use of them but I found some of them who were careless. It’s been around 10 years that I have been wishing to go Annapurna Base Camp (ABC). Even this time I was not sure if I will make it or not. I just told it to my Thai friend Mr. Thanit that I am planning to go to the base camp and I would be bringing my hunting bows, you want to join me. He said next year as he has other plans this year. But don’t know what happen to him, he later decided to join the trip with his wife. I was so excited to start this trek and waited for them to arrive in Kathmandu.
Ever since I had arrived in Bangkok for my studies, I had a dream to go to visit Cambodia, especially to see the Majestic Angkor Wat at Siem Reap and pain for the Cambodian people from the past “Choeung Ek Genocidal Center” also know as “The Killing Field” in Phnom Penh. Finally, on the eve of 2012 I could manage this trip.
It was my first trip traveling like backpackers without any Itinerary. Before going to Cambodia I did some research on the internet about traveling to Cambodia from Bangkok. Many said that train would be a better option. My friend Mr. Aimal Alam from Pakistan and I packed our bags for our new destination, Cambodia. We took a train this time.
Traveling through train in 3rd class was quite fun. It was an unforgettable journey for us as we met one American guy Mr. Gabriel Carbajal. He was traveling all alone outside United States for the first time. By the time we reach Thailand-Cambodia border Aryanprathet we had become good friends, and we travel together till seam reap. The train journey was quite amazing. We could see the real Thai life, farmers, students, monks, Cambodian workers going back home, and the crop fields. A different life style than Bangkok.
First of all I would like to wish Happy New Year 2013.
I always wanted to do some street photography at unknown city, Phnom Penh, Combodia turn out to be a perfect place to try some street photography for me. Many People might have different views on street photography, but for me i just tried to capture some moments that i saw while walking around this city.
I have no idea about the norms of street photography, but I love to take picture so that the subject does not notice, but it is hard when you walk around with 50 mm lens. As you see some people just smiled at my camera when they noticed it, but at times they turned their face down or hide, so I felt bad and did not take their pictures. Anyway, enjoy my shots and if you have any suggestion then please let me know. I wanna improve them in my next unknown city tour.
I support Local Empowerment. So, I’m sharing this Everest Base Camp Trek to promote a new way of trekking where trekkers can empower the local service providers like lodges, guides and porters by booking services directly through them. #empoweringthehimalayas #freetriptoeverest
