This time I have tried to capture picture with long exposure to give different feel than the ones I have captured before.
Holi is festival of colors. Since few years the trend of celebrating the festival is changing. when I was teenager, we hardly used to see girls getting out of house and playing holi. Now a days we see lots of girls getting out of house and playing holi. May be it is a sign of freedom, independence and self confidence.
This week Photowalk Nepal selected Bouddhanath as their photowalk destination. The theme of this week photowalk was Night Photography. Since I had already capture the night photograph of this place last week, I tried to capture some of the picture before the dusk.

Bouddha is the first monument that has been renovated after it was damaged by 2015 Earthquake. This monument is listed as a world heritage site by UNESCO.

The musical play which is played at Patan Durbar Square every year features the story of Pralad, Hiranyakaishapu and Narsingha avatar. This musical dance show is more than 300 years old and still the local people of Patan have preserved it and perform this every year.
Every year Newar community from different places of Nepal celebrated the Nepal sambat . I haven’t got the chance to see the rally form other city but I manage to go to Basantapur at Kathmandu to observe this rally. This year I manage to capture some portraits
For the past few years, long festivals in Kathmandu valley started allocating a day just for girls. There is a special day where only girls pull the Red Macchindra Charoit. Similarly during Indra Jatra too there is one day allocated for girls to pull the chariot of Kumari, Ganesh and Bhairab.
