Pashupatinath Temple during the Maha Shivaratri Festival
Pashupatinath temple, a Hindu temple on the banks of the river bagmati dedicated to lord Shiva. It is one of the biggest shrine for Hindu devotees. It is listed as a UNESCO world heritage site.
Every year on the day of Maha Shivaratri many people visit the temple, at night it just looks majestic with all these colourful lights. Here are some picture which I captured today.
Ganja is illegal but still it is widely available on the festival of Shivaratri. Lots of baba and sadhu from Nepal and India visit the holy Pashupati Nath temple. and during the festival time it’s no wonder that most of them take ganga puff. Here are some picture of them with the puff of ganja.
I support Local Empowerment. So, I’m sharing this Everest Base Camp Trek to promote a new way of trekking where trekkers can empower the local service providers like lodges, guides and porters by booking services directly through them. #empoweringthehimalayas #freetriptoeverest
