Bajrayogini at Sankhu

Bajrayogini @ Shankhu

Hey guys in few weeks’ time there is going to be a festival in one of the ancient city of Nepal , Sankhu. This festival is going to be held from 2 – 4 April 2010.

I was really surprised to get an email from one of the organizer Mr. Suresh Pradhan. He requested me to send him some high resolution picture I took when I visited Shankhu on Bajrayogini Jatra. It’s always a pleasure when someone passes your work and asks for your favor.  I have given few photographs to him so that he can utilize it to make some brochure and posters for advertisement. I hope this festival will be a great success. It is time for people outside Shankhu to know the cultural heritage of this palace and its history. This is also a holy city where every year millions of people visit to take bath on Shali Nadi.

British Gorkha Cup 2009

Watching football has been one of entertainment that I enjoy a lot, alongside placing bets on platforms like ยูฟ่าเบท เดิมพันกีฬา. I used to be a Regular spectator at Darsath Stadium in Kathmandu. There was not a single game that  I have not attended a decade ago. Especially I never forgot to attend my home team Friend’s Club match.

Today after a long interval of time I went inside the stadium to watch a domestic game. Before at this time we used to have a birthday cup on the occasion of our beloved late king Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev. It used to fun to watch those games where ANFA used to invite teams like Mohan Bagan East Bengal once even there was a Chinese youth team. I remember corporate team of Lufthansa airline playing once.

We are all familiar with the human emotions of love, hatred, jealousy, anxiety and so on. Of these anger is a common and powerful emotional experience which everyone feels from time to time. Before we see how to overcome our anger let us see what makes us angry. Generally our minds are dominated by a selfish ego and the need to have everything going our own way. When we feel that our selfish wishes are being frustrated and we are not getting our own way, we may respond by becoming angry. For example, we see many outbursts of rage for various reasons. In our homes husbands and wives express anger towards each other for seemingly minor reasons, such as when they have differences of opinion and ideas. Brothers and sisters may even argue due to disturbing noises of radio or television. The news on television and in the newspapers tells us how labourers cried angrily over their rights. Right now Nepal government main job is to maintain peace in the country and draft new constitution in time. In every public place meeting the top leaders, members of parliament and ministers have been talking about that they will write down the constitution in time.

In between this there have been many changes, the parliament abolish royal family, made Nepal secular country and many ethnic group started raising voices on what they need.

Anyway we all know about what I mention above. Now let’s talk about the new voice raised by the Communist party of Nepal (Maoist). They want to change the National Flag of Nepal. There have been debates going on about this.
