 Yogi Patanjali

I have always dreamed of going to some Hindu holy places like Vanaras, Haridwar and many popular destinations among Hindu. This time since I am spending couple of months in Delhi, finally I got opportunity to visit Haridwar 200 Km away from Delhi. We really had a memorable travel to Haridwar and had some exciting experience. We return at night where heavy fog was disturbing our driver to drive. We had our eyes wide open at night if he is driving safe. Thank god he was an experience driver and brought us back to Delhi safe. Continue reading »

We were lucky that we happened to visit this landmark in the evening. Every evening they have a musical show there. They give a brief history on India and Red fort. It is fun to attend this show. The colorful light gives attractive view of the fort.

Guys if you happen to visit Delhi then don’t miss this show. For now enjoy the pictures that I took.

Bagmati River, KopundoleView of Bagmati River from Google Earth. Kopundole – Thapathali

May be you guys are asking, why this is want to know where is the land of Bagmati River? Bagmati river is there and the water is flowing over it. Do you think what is seeing now is only the part of the river?

I live in Kopundole near the Bagmati river bridge. I have been seeing this river since childhood and I have an emotional attachment with this river. We used to go there to play swimming may be 20 years back. It was clean till that time, but look at the face of the river after 20 years. It is a holy river for all the Hindus as it flows by the Pashupati Nath Temple. If you show the condition of the river to some tourist, I am sure they will ask you, “Do you call this river a holy river”.

Any way the thing I want to talk today is not about how clean is river or why we call is Holy River or should we stop calling Holy River. This river has been attacked by ever one.

May be you guys thinking who is back? Any guess? Hope no, you guys are aware of it but could not guess who is back.

Friends, our old friend Long Hours Load shedding is back, 6 hours 10 hours minimum of load shedding daily. Just imagine in 24 hours total we are going to be in 10 hours without electricity.

When will our country Nepal progress with such conditions? All industries will be affected. The cost of everything is rising due to supplement power supply like inverters and diesel generators.

Rolling Stone magazine called Chinese Democracy “a great, audacious, unhinged and uncompromising hard-rock record.”

I Salute you Axl Rose, finally the long wait is over, and I also got the original CD of Guns N’ Roses new Album Chinese Democracy. We hardly get the original CD’s in Nepal. I’d talked about this album in my previous post here.

Hats off to you Axl Rose and to your new band members. This album is really amazing and it will add more songs to your lists of hit songs by Guns N’ Roses.
